How to play Trivia Quiz
Objective: Answer every multiple-choice question in the round correctly to finish with a perfect score and beat your saved best.
Start from the category screen and pick one of five buttons: Mixed, Science, Geography, History, or Entertainment. Mixed pulls from all four topic banks and gives you a full 10-question round. Each single topic holds only eight questions, so choosing one gives you an eight-question round instead. The questions are shuffled fresh every time you start, so the selection and order change on each play.
Each screen shows one question with four answer buttons. Click or tap the answer you think is right. Your pick locks in immediately, so there is no confirm step and no way to change it. The moment you answer, the correct button turns green, and a wrong choice turns red. A correct answer adds one point to your running score, shown in the top-right corner.
After you answer, a button appears reading 'Next Question' for questions still to come and 'See Results' on the final one. You control the pace, so read the revealed answer before moving on. The header tracks your position as Q1/10 (or Q1/8 for a single topic) and your live score, with no timer and no penalty for taking your time.
The end screen shows your final score as a fraction, plus a message tied to how you did: a perfect round, 70 percent or better, 40 percent or better, or below that. Your best score is saved in your browser and shown at the top out of 10 on every screen. From the results, hit 'Play Again' to replay the same category or 'Change Category' to return to the picker.
Tips and strategy
Mixed is the only path to 10
The best-score header counts out of 10, but each single topic bank has only eight questions, so a topic round caps at 8/8. Play Mixed if you want a shot at recording a 10 as your saved best.
Learn from the reveal
The correct answer lights up green after every pick. Since questions repeat across replays from the same fixed banks, read the green button on any you miss. That answer will come back, and now you know it.
No clock, so read fully
Nothing times you or docks points for slowness. Read all four choices before clicking, because your pick locks the instant you tap it with no undo. There is no upside to rushing.
Grind one topic to master it
A single category only cycles through the same eight questions. Replay Science or History a few times and you will have seen every question, making 8/8 reliable before you switch back to the 32-question Mixed pool.
Answer even when unsure
There is no lives system and no elimination for wrong answers, and a miss never deducts from your score. A wrong pick only turns your button red and leaves that one point unearned. Always commit to a guess, since skipping a question is not an option here.
Frequently asked questions
How many questions are in a round?
It depends on the category. Mixed gives you 10 questions drawn from all four topic banks. Each single topic contains only eight questions, so picking one gives you an eight-question round. The header shows your exact count, such as Q3/10 or Q3/8.
Is there a timer or a time limit?
No. The game has no countdown, no per-question clock, and no speed bonus. You can take as long as you want on each question. After answering, you also control when to advance by clicking Next Question or See Results, so nothing forces you forward.
Can I change my answer after clicking?
No. Your pick locks the instant you click a choice, and the answer buttons are disabled once you answer. The correct option immediately turns green and a wrong pick turns red. Read all four choices before committing, because there is no confirm prompt and no way to switch.
How is my quiz score tallied?
You earn one point for each correct answer, with no partial credit and no deductions for wrong picks. Your running total shows in the top-right during play, and the end screen displays your final score as a fraction, such as 7/10 or 6/8. Your best score is kept in your browser out of 10.
